Treatment with HCG, during molting, increased egg quantity and quality significantly. Moreover, the second cycle of the groups that were treated with HCG was similar to the first laying cycle. All groups peaked at more than 90.0 % with high persistency of lay. Egg production percentage, at week 18 after the end of the corn-feeding period, was greater than 90 %. Generally, the group received 2 doses of 25 IU HCG has the best production. We recommend using this method to have a second good cycle after forced molting.
