This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of two joint RECOMB 2006 satellite events: the Second Annual Workshop on Systems Biology, RSB 2006, and the First Biennial Workshop on Computational Proteomics, RCP 2006, held in San Diego, CA, USA in December 2006.
