The book is designed in the light of the critical concerns of environmental issues. It is an attempt to meet the requirements of the facilitators so as to reach to students of various Streams pertaining to environmental concerns. The authors made an attempt to cover concepts of environmental issues that will help the learners to understand the nuances of nature with hands on experience. The experiments are designed based on progressive and traditional method to explore and enrich their knowledge on the wealth of information that nature holds. The authors have consciously selected the projects that help the learners to guide from factual and conceptual knowledge to procedural knowledge leading meta-cognitive knowledge.

Prof C. PADMAJA is a Senior faculty in the Department of Zoology, RIE (NCERT, New Delhi), Mysore. She has been Working on Environmental issues concern to the Lower and Higher Education level. She has teaching experience of 35 years. Dr. GURUPRASAD B.R. Second author has been working as Asst Professor in Dept of Zoology, YCM, University of Mysore, Mysore.
