This book brings the compilation of extremely interesting and relevant studies on the ecological interactions and biology of Oncideres humeralis (Cerambycidae) of the Atlantic Rainforest, Brazil. This book covers a detailed study of many aspects of biology Oncideres humeralis and brocador. It also approach features of the host-plant association between this new species of wood borer beetle and its host plants belonging to the Melastomataceae. Finally, it presents a very interesting study on patterns of host use and its effects on the number and size structure of its host-plants.
