The book is a compilation of research work undertaken for studying effect of medium components on decolorization and degradation of textile dyes and effluents a key feature in bio-remediation process. The idea behind writing this book is to provide basal level information to candidates willing to take up challenging task of maintaining sustainable environment. The book is just an initiative from authors to encourage aspiring researchers to plan, organize their experimental designs and adopt upcoming technologies for assessment of environment impact of urbanization and industrialization on environment specifically water bodies and natural water resources. Authors mention special thanks to mentors Dr.BRM Vyas and Dr.R K Kothari for valuable suggestions and guidance. Ms. Shivani has more than 6 years of teaching experience in field of microbiology and allied areas. While Dr. Vikram has many book chapters and international papers to his credit along with teaching and research.
