Beschreibung
This book is related to epidemiology of staphylococcus aureus in Khyber PukhtunKhwa,a province of Pakistan. The main focus of the study was to determine the prevalence,antibiotic susceptibility pattern and identification of genes responsible for resistance. Modern microbiological and molecular techniques like Polymerase Chain Reaction, Gel Electrophoresis, Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis were employed in the study to achieve the aims.

Dr. Farman Ullah received his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree from Gandhara University Peshawar, Pakistan and M. Phil in Microbiology from Hazara University, Pakistan. He then received his Ph.D. in Molecular epidemiology and antibiotic resistance of Staphylococcus aureus, from the University of Peshawar (UoP), Pakistan.
