In recent years, microbial xylanases have attracted an attention of worldwide researchers and industries because of their immense industrial applications. Xylanases could be used for the juice clarification processes, biobleaching, bio-deinking, feed improvement and for the saccharification of agro-residues. The present book gives an overview of the xylanase producing microorganisms, their production processes, purification, characteristics of xylanases and their applications. We tried to compile the most recent literature and data related to the microbial xylanases so readers get benefited with the recent insights on the xylanases.

Dr. D N Adhyaru is currently working as an Assistant Professor and a former DST-INSPIRE-Fellow. He did PhD under the constant supervision of Prof. Nikhil S. Bhatt (Dean & Head) at Microbiology Department, Gujarat Vidyapith and Prof. H.A. Modi, Life Science Department, Gujarat University, where they both served as a co-guide and guide, respectively.
