Citrus is the most widely cultivated fruit crop in world. As a perennial crop, it requires adequate water and nutrients. The conservation of water, soil and nutrients in orchards is need of the hour for sustainable citriculture. Dr. Pravukalyan Panigrahi, Scientist, ICAR, New Delhi obtained his M. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) with specialisation "Soil and Water Conserv. Engg." from O.U.A.T, Bhubaneswar, India in 1999 and Ph.D from IARI, New Delhi in 2012. He has around fifty publications including twenty research papers in reputed national & international Journals.
