A case study in Nepal based on the voices of the poor rice growers from the terai area, who have been untiringly struggling with the abiotic stresses like drought and submergence. Additionally this case study captures the versions of the different responsible sector actors including policy makers, experts, scientists, technicians and seed sellers. This compilation gives a better understanding of seed systems and seed security aspects of rice plantation in Eastern Nepal.

Dr Tawheed Reza Noor is a Development Economist in Bangladesh. He has diverse experiences working with people belong to heterogonous groups of challenging contexts in South Asia. He applied both qualitative and quantitative methods in research for different organizations and agencies. He is affiliated with some vital platforms including HDCA.
