The minor fruit crops are considered as medicinal plants in respect to its curative properties. Due to its hardy nature and drought tolerance, they are well adopted in wider range of soil. Most of the minor fruits are delicious and nutritive, used as a local diet. Preserved products are made from the minor fruit. Besides fruits, medicinal properties of the leaves and roots of the tree. Minor fruits are respectful in population due to its rich source of minerals and vitamins and it is utilized for making value added product like Jam, Jelly, Squash, Juice and Syrup etc.
