French bean is an important leguminous crop in the hills and can be easily grown in the off-season. Farmers are not able to reap maximum benefits from french bean cultivation due to the lack of knowledge about exact time of sowing, fertilizer doses and other requirements. Thus, to have precise information about french bean cultivation, this work was planned and this book is an attempt to provide precise information to the growers so that they can avail maximum benefits from it.

Dr. D.K. Rana is currently working as Assistant Professor(Horticulture), H.N.B.G.U.Srinagar (Garhwal), U.K., India. He has received his M.Sc. (Ag.) degree in 2000 from G.B.P.U.A.&T., Pantnagar, U.K., India and Ph.D. from H.N.B.G.U.,Srinagar (Garhwal),India.He has quite rich experience in teaching, research and extension of vegetable crops.
