Beschreibung

In order to evaluate the effect of -aminobutyric acid (GABA) and Spermine on some morphological and physiological traits and enzyme activity of Damask rose plant, a completely randomized design was carried out in three replications in Zanjan province. Experimental treatments consisted of three levels of -aminobutyric acid (1, 5, 10 mM) and three levels of Spermine (0.5, 1, 1.5 mM). The evaluated traits included morphological traits (plant height, number of flowers and buds, number of flowering branches, plant diameter, average number of flowers and buds per branch and petal dry weight), physiological traits (total chlorophyll, chlorophyll a, b, carotenoids, leaf and petal flavonoids) and biochemical trait (peroxidase enzyme activity). The results showed that the number of flowers and buds, average number of flowers and buds per branch, petal dry weight, total chlorophyll, chlorophyll a, b, carotenoids, leaf and petal flavonoids and peroxidase enzyme activity were significant at 0.01 compared to the control. Based on the results obtained in this study, the concentration of 5 mM -aminobutyric acid and 1 mM Spermine showed the best results.
