The book will be helpful to both researcher and industrialist who wants to design solar water pumping system for irrigation purpose in any area of the world. It covers detail study of all factors which are responsible for the design and performance of the system. It also gives the knowledge of design of irrigation system required for the solar water pumping system. The main objective of the system is to replace conventional method of diesel engine base water pumping system with the renewable based solar photovoltaic water pumping system.

Er.Pradip Narale is currently working as an Ph.D research Scholar in Indian Institute of Technology,Delhi. He did his B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering and M.E in Renewable Energy Engineering.He also worked in Jain Irrigation System Ltd. as an Solar Project Engineer.He committed himself to work on renewable aspect to make the villages sustainable.
