As Chitwan National Park of Central Nepal is the first National Park of the country which was enlisted in World heritage site in 1984. This park envisages rich biodiversity and is known for the second largest population of One-horned Rhino as well as prime habitat for the Royal Bengal Tiger. As Nepal has celebrated three years of zero poaching, this park has played most crucial role for the achievement.This book contains how the park is being successful in bio-diversity conservation combating poaching and illegal wildlife trade.

The author is currently working as Ranger at Chitwan National Park (CNP),kasara Chitwan, Nepal. He has completed his bachelor of Forestry Science at Institute of Forestry, Pokhara, Nepal in 2014. He has been involved and leaded in Tiger monitoring and grassland mapping at CNP. He has finalized many reports, findings and articles about biodiversity.
