The significant of different soil types and seed treatment on the germination and early growth of pigeon pea using a factorial experiment in complete randomized design [CRD] consisting of two factors: factor A (Pre-treated seeds of pigeon pea) and factor B (Soil types)and the outcome is presented in this book. The parameters which were investigated include percentage seedlings' emergence, early seedling growth parameters such as plant height, number of leaves, collar girth and number of branches.

Babalola Felix Olalekan was born on the 19th November, 1986 in Akunu-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. He obtained West African Secondary School Certificate (WASSC) in the year 2003. He recently graduated from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria with an honors degree in Plant Science and Biotechnology.
