Beschreibung

I like to let this section to publesher. But if you want to me, I suggest to write the short story about Vitaceae family and Leeaceae family. The Vitaceae was originally known as Ampelideae by Kunth 1823 and changed to Vitaceae by Lindley 1835 (Al-Saadi 1982). The family is distributed throughout the tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It consists of 13-15 genera and ca.700 species worldwide. In Malaysia it is represented by ten genera and about 140 species, viz. Ampelopsis, Ampelocissus, Cissus, Cayratia, Tetrastigma, Nothocissus, Pterisanthes and Parthenocissus. Leeaceae consists of one genus and 70 species. The APGII system (Angiosperm Phylogeny Group) places Leea in the subfamily Leeoideae. Leea is often placed in its own family based on morphological differences with Vitaceae. Originally, Leea was assigned to the Ampelideae family, but was transferred to Leeaceae, and then more recently put again under the Vitaceae. Leeaceae are shrubs with unarmed stems, without tendrils. The leaf is simple or compound, 1-4 pinnate to trifoliate with stipules.
