The objectives of this book are to consolidate and summarize the concepts that are needed for the use of graphene-based interfacing nanoscale bio-components in bio-sensing device for common bacteria detection with particular reference to healthcare. Graphene and graphene oxide nanomaterial are well examined and their remarkable physical and chemical merits make them valuable in a variety of applications. Without surprise, an immense deal of this research work was carried out to make them not only biocompatible but also linkage bio-molecules in order to extend their applications into the medical sciences. The subsequent chapters describe the introduction, review of literature, materials, and methods used, outcome of experimental results & discussion and research summary and outlook with vital findings and recommendations relevant to a broad-based study on graphene-based biosensors for healthcare. The book also covers the literature cited. The photos and data used to clarify the concepts add to the exclusiveness of this book.

Anuj Nehra is presently a Ph.D. student in Uttarakhand Technical University and also a recipient of CSIR-SRF. His research interests include nanomaterial characterization, synthesis, nanobiosensor, an electrochemical biosensor. He has published research papers in reputed Science Citation Index-Journals.
