Nano-Biotechnology is a new fringe for biology that allows scientists to work at the cellular molecular and large scale production levels to produce major benefits to life sciences and healthcare applications by using new industrial biotechnology-based on novel approaches in medicine. This book provides perspective for students and researchers who are interested in industrial nanobiotechnological and biological systems and their applications in medicine. The biotechnological impact of nanoscale systems and eco-friendly, quicker, cheaper of biosynthesis of Cu/CuO nanoparticles from citrus peel waste extracts as bio-manufacturing units will be discussed.

Dr. Shahira H. El-Moslamy is a Researcher, Bioprocess Development Department, GEBRI, SRTA-City, Egypt. She graduates in 2003 with the grade of Excellent with honor. She got the master degree (2007) and Ph.D. (2013) in industrial biotechnology and Bioprocessing strategies.
