Proteins are a class of organic molecules that occur naturally in the living organisms and are required for their growth, maintenance and metabolic processes. They are the real heroes of the struggle for sustenance of life. This book throws light on the structure of proteins and helps understand the basic concepts of protein biology. Further, the book focuses on the thermodynamics of protein folding and various disorders associated with protein misfolding.
