Belgian Shepherd Malinois and German Shepherd dogs are great and powerful breeds used in sport and service. Book describe both breeds and summarize the history and present of breeds and breeding specially in Czech Republic. The book (from two students thesis) compare the results (scores) from IPO (International trial rules) disciplines (obedience, defense and track) in World Championships and the Czech Championships among 2003 - 2011.

Ivana Gardiánová, Ph.D. is assistent professor and head of Demonstrational and Experimental Animal House in Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, research fields are animal breeding and enrichment (farm and zoo animals, pets).Ing. Martina Helclová and Bc. Stanislav Koráb are dog breeders and owners, graduates CULS Prague.
