Beschreibung
The present volume is the fruits of the MA project at the School of Foreign Studies of Yangtze University with special regard to translation. It contains five theses which deal with five topics in Translation Studies, including norms theory and literary translation, poetry translation with reference to domesticating and foreignizing strategies, ideology and translation, eco-translatology and translation of public signs, as well as translators motives.
Autorenporträt
Chuanmao Tian is Professor of English at Yangtze University, Hubei, P. R. China, with a doctorate in Translation and Intercultural Studies (URV, Spain). He has published dozens of articles on translation and intercultural studies in Babel, LANS-TTS, Chinese Translators Journal, Across Languages and Cultures, Critical Arts, Continuum, and so on.
