Communication in second and foreign languages is very significant for everyone. There are many methods and approaches which propose a range of different learning styles, techniques, and strategies. In functional-notional method the pertinent use of conversations for different purposes is highly accentuated. Therefore, language learners should be aware of what to say in different conditions and thus, the common errors resulting from the interference of mother tongue will be minimized to a huge extent. This book presents 1,046 English conversations in 343 situations that include the most indispensable concepts. Likewise, it can be used as an independent source for language learning, as an adjunct book to feed learners minds in conversation classes, as a supplementary source for free discussion courses and/or TOEFL/ IELTS preparation classes to acquaint students with principal functions of English Language. Topics can be selected at any order based on learners needs and interests.

Sajad Faramarzi is a lecturer of Applied Linguistics at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Islamic Azad University. His major interests are Computer Assisted Language Learning, Computerized Testing, and Distance Language Learning. He has published many scholarly articles and books.
