This book presents a brief taxonomy of purposes and procedures associated with Dynamic Assessment. In the first part, the theoretical foundations of Dynamic Assessment (the possible definitions, origins, models, and its differences with traditional testing approaches) are described. The second part depicts how these underlying theories function in practice for predicting the practical/potential capabilities of students in different instructional contexts.

Mohammad Saber Khaghaninejad has a Ph.D in TEFL and at the moment is an assistant professor at Shiraz University, Iran. He has published more than 30 articles in validated academic journals and is interested in "Teaching methodology", "Psycholinguistics" and "Sociolinguistics".
