A Critical study of Al-Mahjoub as a Sudanese Romantic Poet and CriticThis book traced back the great impact of the western culture on the Sudanese literature, with special focus on the works of one of the prominent Sudanese poet and thinkers Muhammad Ahmad al-Mahjoub. In fact the study also went to make the comparison study between the western school of Romanticism, and that one of the Arabic schools of Romanticism.

Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Manour was born in Sudan, River Nile State, al-Zeidab, al-Agaida in 1958. Received his tertiary education at Omdurman Islamic University, specialized in English literature. He is currently working as an assistant professor at al-Baha University, KSA.
