Beschreibung
All World religions have their principles of holiness and they have all produced holy men and women all over the world. This book however is on Judeo-Christian religion. It deals with the Biblical principles of holiness, contained in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The book is divided into two parts; the first part deals with Biblical principles of holiness. The second part deals with holy men and women in both the Old and New Testaments. The book gives a brief biography of each of them. The New Testament saints are classified according to their states of life. Thus they are classified into different categories: saints who were married, who achieved holiness through marriage, saints who were clerics, who achieved holiness as clerics, saints who were religious, who achieved holiness in the religious life, young saints who achieved holiness in their youth, and saints who were killed for their faith (martyrs). The main thrust of the book is that holiness is achievable in all states of life, even in youth, as the young saints did. You too can be a saint, whatever be your state of life or your age. You can be a saint.
