Cigarettes and other forms of tobacco are addicting. Most smokers use tobacco regularly because they are addicted to nicotine. Furthermore, most smokers find it difficult to quit using tobacco because they are addicted to nicotine. Nicotine addiction develops in the first few years of cigarette smoking. That is, for most people during adolescence or early adulthood. To understand why youths use tobacco and why prevention measures are necessary and preferable to cessation measures to deter tobacco use by youths, one needs to go through the contents of this work based on the dissertation at SGT Dental College, Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana.
