Dogmatism, especially religious dogmatism is the root of most wars and violence that spread as a darkness shadow on the sky of our world. Dogmatic people with persisting on their limited thoughts, deny the other viewpoints. Sometimes, they fight with others to save her/himself from the challenging perspectives. Undoubtedly, closing mind decrease the abilty of adaptation with society. It is also an obstacle against happiness and well-being. The only way for preparing a happier world is the opening mind and heart toward others since the truth is relative. Maybe, one day we find that the reality is not our persisted viewpoint nor the perspective that presented by others.

My name is Maryam Malmir. I was born in 1981 in Iran. I am a Ph.D degree holder in psychology and I am a researcher and Associate Professor in Aging Research Center (ARC) in Farhud Cultural Foundation. Also, I am a scientific editor of three journals. I am interested to study about happiness, violence, ethics and aging.
