Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The respondents were asked to answer questionnaire of cognitive emotion regulation components. According to the answers on self-blame, the respondents did not blame themselves for occurrence of negative events. Also with respect to catastrophysing, the respondents answered to all the items in low level. According to the respondents answers on other-blame, the respondents did not blame others for what had happened to them. Based on the respondents answers on rumination as a negative coping strategy, it could be observed that most of the responses were categorized at high level for all items. In terms of the items related to refocusing, reappraisal, acceptance and planning, all answers were categorized at high level for all the questions. Also, regarding putting into perspective, low responses were related to the statement of all could have been much worse in low level. Moreover, the highest score is related to positive reappraisal. The findings also displayed significant differences in the cognitive emotion regulation of respondents of different faculties, age groups, races, and genders.
