Beschreibung

In any country examinations results form the basis for employment of the youth. Their certificates or degrees are passports to employment. In more recent times, it has been noted that even if anybody can acquire a degree, employment becomes an uncertain thing to be attained or achieved, this is simply because of the academic expansion and availability of educational facilities in universities, which leads to what is referred to as academic explosion leading to a high percentage of graduates yearly, looking for few vacancies for being employed in public and private sectors. Therefore, their failure leads to unemployment-if they have completed the final stage at the graduate level and are pursuing courses in postgraduate. In this research work, I would be discussing unemployment among the university postgraduate students in its sociological sense, not in economics sense of the term. Thus in creating a social order and social disorganization which will ensure for all men the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, regardless of race, colour or creed or caste or religion, it is necessary to guard against the excesses of unemployment by guaranteeing employment.
