Beschreibung
This book was divided into two parts; the first section consisted of seven chapters dealing with some cognitive patterns and dimensions or personality traits, especially the five major factors in personality with interest in cross-cultural studies, especially in Arab countries. The second section presented three researches, the first on the Big Five and the impulsive emotional cognitive style in light of cultural differences, the second on the independent cognitive style dependent on the field, and the third on the five big factors in personality.
Autorenporträt
Prof. Elham A. Khalil received her educational degrees from Egypt. She currently works as a professor and head of the psychology department, Faculty of Arts, Menoufia University. Her publications interested with clinical psychology, experimental psychology, cross- culture studies, personality, and cognitive psychology.
