Losing love can be painful for anyone. Feeling of loss is generally overwhelming when there is end of first romantic relationship during adolescence. Like the feelings of passion early in the relationship, the newness and rawness of grief and loss can be intense and devastating. This is the reason why after a break-up, a teenager is known as heart-broken. Eventually, majority of adolescents get through it or find a way to carry on with determination and hope while there are some others who take more time to bounce back to life. Why does one person try suicide while another person in the same tough situation does not? What makes some people more resilient (better able to deal with life's setbacks and difficulties) than others? This book unfolds determinants of resilience among adolescents with broken heart.
