The author, João Carlos Holland de Barcellos, known as "Jocax", received a bachelor's degree in physics in 1980 from the University of São Paulo (USP) and later in Computer Science. He completed his master's degree in Digital Systems in the year 2000. His areas of interest are Philosophy, Physics, Biology and Computing.
