The Buddhist humanism as a human-centered religion and the ideal of the human being as an active agent of compassion can be found in the nearly all Buddhist schools. In many ways, Buddhist humanism is on common ground. The primary commonalities are the rejection of an external deity and the emphasis on social justice and spirits of self-responsibility, self-confidence, self-support, self-control, self-acceptance, self-awareness. equaling in and response to social conflict, environmental degradation and education crisis. Lastly, it will suggest a standard of value based on happiness of individuals and the commonwealth. This is based on wisdom but not on imaginative knowledge, based on human love and humanness but not on hatred and fighting. This is the Buddhist solution for problems in modern society.

Dr. Dinh Thi Bich Luy was born in 1983 in Vietnam, she has three BAs, one was in Psychology, English Linguistics and Literature from University of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Vietnam, Buddhist Philosophy from Vietnam Buddhist University. 2014-2019 she studies M.A., Ph.D. (Buddhist Studies), Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University.
