Beschreibung

Over the past the physically challenged students have been deprived access to quality information due to their disability. The advent of information technology has curb these challenges as more physically challenged students can access information resources using computers. Same could not be said of physically challenged students in the developing countries, specifically Nigeria as these category of students are deprived access to information due to inadequate print and non-availability of electronic resources to them. This study examined the Availability of Library Resources and Patronage by Physically Challenged Students in Universities in South-South Nigeria. the results revealed that Universities in South-South Nigeria provide print resources, but do not provide assistive technology resources for the physically challenged.
