Beschreibung
This publication presents the results of a research project carried out by BIBB to investigate the need for a possible state-regulated dual regulated dual training occupation in medical device reprocessing. For this purpose, the company structures, qualification requirements, areas of application and employment prospects are recorded and the necessary focal points of activity and requirements for such an occupation in the field of medical device reprocessing and the persons working in it are determined. Based on the results from the company case studies, guideline-based interviews and a nationwide online survey, BIBB recommends the creation of a dual training occupation for medical device reprocessing.
