One of the reasons why HIV/AIDS is difficult to control is because many people do not know their status. They do not like to go for HIV testing despite all benefits associated with knowing one's status. This book focuses on university students' attitudes towards HIV/AIDS testing. Students have their unique perspectives about knowing their status. They like to know their status, but fear of the consequences of knowing prevents them from going for testing.

Dr. Lawrence Meda is a lecturer and Teaching and Learning Coordinator at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa. His research interests are in Curriculum Studies, Teacher Education and Inclusive Education. He has published extensively in national and international journals.
