The study explores the effectiveness of module prepared using authentic materials to develop writing skills of engineering students. The study provides students exposure to the authentic materials which expose them to the language the society uses. One who is good at writing skills and can express oneself in an effective manner holds global advantage in terms of one's professional as well as personal career.

Dr Shemal Mevada is an Assistant Professor teaching English to students of Paramedical. He has a vast experience of teaching English to the students of Science, Engineering, Arts and Commerce. His areas of interest are English Language Teaching, Computer Assisted Language Learning and English Literature.
