The Book examines the use of Play-way Creative Technique to teach poetry in Senior Secondary Schools in Owerri Municipal Council, Imo State, Nigeria. The study of poetry presents problems to students due to the use of coded language which can not be easily understood. The Author therefore simplified the teaching and learning of poetry using a different kind of teaching method, which is play-way among secondary school students.

Joyce Austen Onyekuru Ph.D. is a trained broadcast journalist and theatre professional who has several works of fiction in Play, Novels, and Poetry to her credit. She has also written many Articles that are published in some reputable academic journals. She is a research student at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
