This book contains outcome of an UGC, New Delhi major project on e-Learning. There exists a paradox in e-Learning among various institutes. Few institutions join the race, while the rest suffer from lack of knowledge or from lack of realization of the importance of e-Learning. Institutes like IITs, IIMs, IIITs, NITs etc. are adopting all latest technologies and are keeping their students enlightened from various parts of the world. E-Learning has vast potential in India. There is an ample proof of wide use of the e-learning facility and its utility in the society. There are other initiatives taken in this direction by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Consortium for Education Commission of the University Grants Commission (UGC), National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). They have developed interactive e-contents and some are also providing e-courses in the VLE. The book depicts about status of e-Learning in universities and aided colleges of U.P. (India).
Autorenporträt
Dr. Vijay Jaiswal was born in 1975 and did his masters degree in Physics and Education from Poorvanchal Univ., Jaunpur and B. H. U., Varanasi respectively. He was awarded Ph. D. degree in Education from C. S. J. M. University, Kanpur (India) in 2007. Presently he is working as Associate Professor in Education in C. C. S. University, Meerut (India)
