Beschreibung
Wishbook is an overview of 38 exhibitions by artist Claus Richter from 2005 until 2020. Richter works with various means of expression, spanning from paintings, sculpture, bas-reliefs, animatronic figures, puppet plays, large scale installations to vinyl records and stageshows. Richters work is based on his coming of age in the 1970s and 1980s and his formative experiences with consumer culture and the entertainment industry. On 320 pages, WISHBOOK mimicks mail-order catalogs, theme park brochures and advertisements from this period, replacing the original contents with texts and pictures from Richters exhibitions.
