This book is intended to provide information about the latest innovations in tall building design and construction technologies. Providing a historical background on the early development of tall buildings, it mainly presents the innovative technologies applied, by means of architectural design, structural systems, new and smart materials and improvements in vertical transportation systems via the help of latest applications. The book also presents a number of super and mega tall buildings of our recent era, focusing on their innovative construction technologies and sustainability features.
Autorenporträt
Aysin Sev is an Associate Professor in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Building of Technology Department. She has received her MSc degree and PhD from the Science and Technology Institute of the same university. She gives lectures on tall buildings, sustainable architecture and building construction techniques.
