Beschreibung
This study has sought to underline the problem of women and programmes formulated by Brahmo Samaj and Arya samaj movements addressing these problems. The study has been conducted with three aspects, the theoretical aspects of the problem and framework to study has been taken in the first chapter. The second chapter deals with the philosphy and programmes of these movements and their bearing on women. The women education and social religious reforms has been dealt with the last chapter of the study.
