Epicurean tourism the fastest growing component of tourism destination in recent years worldwide. In Bangladesh, the promotion of local food as a component of its destination attractiveness is in its infancy both at international and domestic level. Tourists wishes to experience the local tastes in the destinations and accommodation facilities have prepared the ground for the development of epicurean tourism. The book is a small attempt to address the heritage value of Bangladeshi cuisine and opportunities of Bangla food heritage promotion to attract epicurean tourists. At the same time, it may help for the revival of Bangla culinary heritage globally.

Prof. Islam Md. Hashanat, is a writer, an editor, a consultant, a free-lance trainer and interpreter, and a dedicated and well-known English as well as tourism teacher and activist in Bangladesh. He is an active Global Member of TESOL & also a Reviewer of TESOL since 2016. He is the Founder & President of Bangla Culinary Heritage Foundation.
