English Education in India describes the impact of the introduction of English Education in Indian Continent especially in Bombay, the Metropolitan city of India. In this book the author speaks about distinct features of Indian Education and identified the Educational traditions were the pride of Indian culture and civilization. He reveals that the English education was a potent instrument for peaceful economic, social and political transformation. The history of English education in India especially in Bombay is a remarkable phenomenon. We could say that the base of the present Indian educational policy was planned and organized by the British. Under the British Rule, education in India was in the hands of those who had some vested interests. The main objective of English education was to make the Indians, to serve their masters and not the nation.It is described as a foreign plant, not suited to the Indian soil and therefore showing an unseemly growth. The reason for this growth was the selfish motive of the British authority. The primary motivating factors in British educational policy were to find solution to the needs of the administrators.

The areas of study are History and Education.He was a principal in various Educational Institutions in India. At present, he is doing Pastoral service in the USA.
