Women writers of Indian Diaspora articulate their own sense of migration and negotiate with the strategies of inclusion and resistance through subversion and dislocation. Their writings can also be taken up across the transcultural spectrum. This book is a compendium of research articles on various aspects of Meena Alexander's writings and is an attempt to understand her oeuvre in a better way. The work aims at understanding the diasporic and postcolonial literature with the perspective of this woman author.

Manjari Shukla is an Assistant Professor, teaching English at Vasanta College for Women Rajghat Fort, Varanasi. She has to her credit the following Books:- Emergence of the Diasporic Self (Lambert Academic Publishing); - Ruminations (Amazon); - Epiphany (ABS Publications) and more than 20 research papers in National and International Journals.
