The application of the monograph is oriented towards the educational process in the following disciplines: Standardization in Library Activities, Standardization and Quality Management in Archival Activities, Quality Management in Library and Information Activities in full and part-time mode of study for bachelor's degree in the specialties of Library Studies and Bibliography, Library and Information Management, Archival Studies and Records Management. It can also be used for the continuing education of library and archive professionals.

Rositsa Krasteva is Assoc. Prof. PhD in University of Library Studies and Information Technologies, Sofia, Bulgaria. She is expert in Technical Committee "Archive, librarianship and information activity" in Bulgarian Institute for Standardization.
