This book will be an eye opener to discourage the perpetrators of domestic violence in families the world over.The readers of this book will act as change agents in their communities and will always realize that poor problem solving skills and poverty within the society are the major causes of domestic violence in families. Therefore,reading this book will also give knowledge and skills to the readers of how to handle cases of domestic violence in families. It is recommended that there is always need for capacity building and actions against poverty alleviation programs that can be done through improving the livelihoods of the family members and also creating more employment opportunities which may engage these family members into gainful activities which can take most of their times in order to reduce household tensions that may automatically end up in household fights and use of abusive language or child battery.

Mr.Oyugi Alfred holds a Master Degree in Public Administration and Management(MAPAM) of Gulu University,Bachelor of Development Studies First Class Hons of Ndejje University and Diploma in Education Secondary of Kyambogo.He is a lecturer at All Saints University,Lango and the Head of Department Public Administration and Management.
