Beschreibung
Living in the twenty first century in the year 2014 one would think that world has gone far beyond the issues of discrimination and has recognised the importance of a diverse workforce but that is sadly not the case today. During my research in the articles and surveys and interviews I did, I was exposed to the idea that people still in very large number think that issues of negative discrimination still exist in a very large amount and are yet to be addressed properly. This comparative study represents an attempt to address these issues relevant to human resource management (HRM) in the international construction industry. My research as clear from the topic was based in three countries namely the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. As I mentioned in my project presentation in May 2014, during the research it became clear to me that I have enough data on the United Kingdom (UK) regarding my topic of research but these issues and topics remain very under researched in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). So the utmost importance was given to finding the data of these two countries.
