The Health and Nutritional care to HIV infected persons is provided by the health care delivery system of Government, private and public and private partnership agencies through their services. The Family support to HIV infected persons is extended by their family members or care takers. The sample comprised of HIV / AIDS infected mothers attending (ART) centres in Guntur district and the Superintendents and coordinators of ART Centres. The data on the health and nutrition care services were collected from the service providers and also the beneficiaries in order to study the gap in delivery of services. The research tools were developed and tested in the pilot study and modifications in the research tools were carried out based on the results of the pilot study. The data collection using the modified research tools was carried out on a sample of 200 HIV / AIDS infected mothers attending ART centres.The availability and utilization of nutritional care services were very poor.

Renimadugu Padmavathi was born on 01-07-1965.She did B.Sc(N) 1987 in A.U,Visakhapatnam and M.Sc (Psy) 2005 in S.V University ,M.Sc (N) 2007 in SVIMS,and Ph.D 2013 in Sri Padmavathi Womens University Tirupati. She is working as a lecturer in Govt College of Nursing Guntur.She has published 3 research articles in Health&Nursing Journals in India.
