Zhang Yuyan is the Director-General and senior research fellow of the Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Academic Member of CASS, and Professor of University of CASS. Also, he serves as the President of the China Society of World Economy, and chief editor of World Economy and Politics and China and World Economy. His main research areas include institutional economics and international political economy.
